Whether you are beach bound or just want to relax by the private pool, Blue Tides is calling your name. A charming craftsman-style 3BR/1B beach cottage, named “Blue Tides” is just a mile from the beach. Centrally located, you can relax and cruise around like a local in your very own golf cart (which is included in the rental) to all the major attractions like Galveston’s Historic Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and all the unique local restaurants and shopping offered on The Strand, Post Office Street, and throughout the island.
This is a great home for your family or small group. A place where you can enjoy peaceful mornings and evenings lounging on the front porch. Or in the backyard, use the propane grill to have a barbecue, play corn-hole, make s’mores over the fire pit, hang out at the shaded picnic table, or unwind with an afternoon nap on the hammock. The house also comes with beach chairs and a cooler for you to use on your trips to the beach. Blue Tides truly offers something for everyone.
There's a full kitchen to accommodate all your mealtime needs which include a refrigerator, dishwasher, and Keurig for our coffee lovers out there. It’s fully stocked with all of the dishes, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, and cookware needed if you want to dine in. The home is equipped with a full-size washer, dryer, and ironing board to accommodate all your laundry needs.
Free Wi-Fi is available and there’s a smart TV in the living room so you can conveniently log into your own streaming accounts like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Sling, HBO, and more. Bedrooms #1 and #2 both have Queen beds. Bedroom #3 has two sets of twin bunk beds. There is also a Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a Pack n-Play available for infants.
OPTIONAL CONCIERGE SERVICE: Guests may choose to take advantage of our grocery shopping concierge service. We utilize 'Click List' a shopping program through Kroger Grocery Store or Walmart Curbside Pickup. You may choose to have groceries delivered and put away before arrival. The cost of the groceries will be the renter's responsibility. We maintain a family atmosphere for the peaceful enjoyment of our Galveston neighbors and guests. We require a rental age of 25 years and up.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a great location that was quiet but in between the beach and the strand. It was a quick golf cart ride to all the attractions. The property access was super easy with the codes for the house and garage. It had almost anything you would need. There was a grill with propane, firepit with wood, beach toys, boogie boards, a hammock, outdoor chairs, outdoor shower, and the golf cart absolutely made it worth it for us! We love love love that they included this! It was so nice and ended up being way cheaper than renting one. It has a great yard! The house is super cute! The back room does get a little hot but it was the hottest time of the year also, and there were tons of fans to make it comfortable. Towels were great! This is just a wonderful place to stay!

Blue Tides is a perfect home base for Galveston Island adventures! Great central location to all of the attractions on the Island. The included 6 person golf cart was such an added bonus, we loved taking it to & from the beach each day and even used it to pick up our to go orders from area restaurants. The outdoor shower in the back yard with hot water was great! We also really liked the fire pit, lots of lounge chairs & hammock for sitting and visiting in the backyard in the evenings and the front porch was a great morning coffee spot! The cottage & property were clean and looked exactly like the photos. The only addition I would recommend is a full length mirror somewhere in the house, but that is not a big deal at all. I highly recommend staying at Blue Tides when on Galveston Island, I know we will stay here again on future trips to the island!

We were looking for a safe option for the weekend with Covid cases rising.
Came with my pregnant daughter and son-in-law as well as 2yr old grandson. Rental was perfect for us. Very clean and able to eat meals there. Enjoyed riding to the beach on the golf cart. We are hoping to return next year.

This house fit all of our needs for this weekend getaway. It had plenty of room for all of us, quiet neighborhood too. Plus we got to use the golf cart to ride the seawall. The kids loved it!!
We stayed here for the Ironman 70.3 Galveston weekend, my wife and I, and two other couple friends . We made the long drive from West Texas out to Galveston and when we hit the beds that night we were pleasantly surprised! Great location, great beds, perfect size and comes with a golf cart to cruise the town! We were extremely happy with our stay and would stay here again!
