We stay in this rental once a year and have yet to be disappointed! The place is always clean when we arrive. Excellent location and private which is why we prefer this place. Lovely rental!

Not only is the house nicely decorated, comfortable and clean, the view is spectacular! Can’t beat the view, no houses sitting next to you and are able to see sunrise, sunset, the bay and parts of the beach. The covered balcony, off the kitchen, is a great place to a drink coffee and watch the sunrise. I love the downstairS! It’s very breezy with comfortable hammocks and large table for eating with nice lighting. Lots of space to play in the open yard and parking for friends to visit. The walk to the beach is short, I’d suggest bringing a wagon or small cart to tote cooler and beach items or rent a golf cart! We will for sure return and stay a little longer to get it all said and done! Highly recommend Sea Bird beach house to friends

Beautifully decorated house with all the comforts of home. Hugh TV screens in all rooms. Even though the house is not on the beach, you can't beat the views! With the wide open space, you get a huge yard to accommodate lots of parking for friends and family to visit. The downstairs patio is large with charcoal grill and a rectangle table with plenty of chairs. The 2 hammocks and the breeze make it a good napping spot. Best view is on the cover deck off the kitchen, we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sipping on coffee. With the short walk to beach, I suggest bringing a wagon or cart to haul your beach paraphernalia or you can rent a golf cart . The rental place is a block from the house. You can also went, bicycles, skim boards and other water sports equipment. We will for sure return and stay longer next time.

This was our 2nd summer staying at Sea Bird. We love this beach house. The house is clean, it has plenty of room, and everything we need. We always have a fun time when we stay here. Definitely recommend!

We have stayed in Galveston once a year, for a while now and this was our favorite so far! We could see the Bay and the beach. The yard is huge so a lot of room for kids to play. Our family had the best time. We loved the privacy, views, and location! We will be back!

This house was wonderful. You can see the Gulf and the bay from the balcony. It's the only house on the street so, you have plenty of privacy. The house was clean, modern, and a perfect size. My family and I had a wonderful time here!

I would definitely recommend this property. We enjoyed every bit of it. We were able to relax with quiet time, since we did not have no close neighbors.

We loved Sea Bird! We love the location, it's ver private and on a beautiful lot with beach and bay views. Gorgeous sunsets from upstairs. The house is very clean and so nice.

The house and location is exactly how it’s presented. Very clean and fully stocked. Great location if you’re looking for space. The beach is just a short walk from the house. We drove so we could unload our things easier since we have 3 littles. We would go back in a heartbeat! Property management is VERY responsive when it comes to your needs. The house was super cute and a great location! The house was equipped very nicely with large TV’s, supplies, and cleanliness. The frog in bathroom at midnight was a bit disturbing and I kept finding fleas throughout the house mainly on sofa.
The master bedroom needs a new mattress and freezer wouldn’t stay shut, but overall the house was AMAZING! We truly enjoyed the location and not having neighbors on top of us. It’s secluded and walking distance to the beach for the perfect for a Get-Away. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Great little house, perfect for our stay while social distancing. It’s the only house on the street, on an acre lot with no other houses nearby. On the back deck, you can see the ocean between the beachfront houses. The front of the house overlooks a marsh, and the north side overlooks a bird sanctuary and the bay. We watched sunsets from the front deck.

It’s near beach access # 28 which was much less crowded than closer to town. We drove down to access rd # 34, which was a wider beach and even less populated. We had no problem social distancing there, hanging out, flying kites and walking the beach.

The house has been completely updated—very nice. It’s a new rental on the market so it’s not very well stocked. I purchased a frying pan, 9 x9” casserole dish, and kitchen tongs which we used for the grill. Hopefully, the owners will continue to fill in the gaps in kitchen items, lighting, etc. The refrigerator was also quirky. It’s a new Samsung but was not cold after we stocked it with food. Ice cream partially melted and refroze overnight. There was never more than a couple of dozen ice cubes at any point in time but we just bought our own ice. All of these issues were manageable and did not detract from our enjoying the house.

The one significant problem was the terrible mattress in the master bedroom—peaks and valleys. We woke up every morning with backaches. As with the other items, this can be easily corrected and when it is we would love to come back.

Myself and a few friends stayed at the Sea Bird House over the weekend. The location of the house is perfect if you don’t like houses on top of you, which I loved! The houses finishes are very beautiful. The floors, the granite in the kitchen and bathrooms are unique and very pretty, the fixtures are elegant, the furniture is all very comfortable and something I would choose for my own home, the wall colors make you feel happy as they are bright and not all your typical beachy blue color. The kitchen is very modern and has a lot of items you may not think of to bring, blender, toaster, coffee pot both regular and k-cup friendly, dishes, silverware, pots & pans made it very convenient especially since we couldn’t go out to eat because of COVID-19. The deck area, wraps around almost the whole house and has plenty of seating, a table, even chaise lounges to lay out and get some sun. You have views of the bay and ocean. This house is perfect for families but worked for the group of adults I was with. I am definitely going to be staying at this house again and have already started making plans. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!!!

This is a prefect place for a family vacation. The home is perfectly situated in between the bay with a bird sanctuary and the ocean. It has a wrap around pouch that you can see the bay on one side and the ocean on another side. We really enjoyed the deck and the seating available for our use. The inside had amazing flooring and granite counter tops. The lighting throughout the house was very nicely done with high end quality. All the rooms comfortably fit us great. In each room there is nice flatscreen TVs and the home has a massive movie selection online to watch on smart TVs. The kitchen had every the my home kitchen has and the coffee machine was great as I drink full pots and k cups for the single cups drinkers. This house is located close to golf cart rentals and we took part of that fun. The home is a wonderful place and it was so nice to feel all alone and still close to so much. It is a place I would definitely go back to.

Everything is exactly what we had of chosen for our home. The flooring, counters, countertops, window shades, lighting, furniture, outdoor furniture, hammocks, grill... its a perfect vacation home!!! No way we could EVER go back to a hotel. Grocery store, marina and restaurant along with vacation rental (golf cart, paddle boards, bicycles, etc...) boat trailer / RV parking, nature preserve... EVERYTHING has been taken into account. We WILL be back EVERY chance we get.

Cute spot, great for the family. Nice updated kitchen so you can cook, brand new washer & dryer so you can keep up with the kiddos clothes if on a family vaca. Nice big patio to sit outside and relax. Tons of movies to watch if you need a chill night in. I will be back in the summer with some friends for sure.

This home is a really nice vacation rental. Great location! It’s walking distance to the beach. There are views from the balcony of the bay, beach and bird sanctuary. This home is on a very quiet private road. It has all the accommodations you need ( wifi, huge tv, grill, coffee pot, compfy couch and beds. There were 3 couples in our group and we were all very comfortable. The house was very very clean. Even with the rainy weather we had an amazing vacation. I would defiantly recommend this vacation home. I will absolutely be back to visit! Don’t forget your beach towels.

What a nice place for a mini vacation. There were 6 in our group and we were very comfortable in our stay. They house is clean and offered all the accommodations we needed. It has 2 bedrooms & 2 baths. One is accessed from the hallway so if you have guest on the couch, it works out well. It has a spacious deck that would be great for tanning (it rained on us the whole time…) but we still had a great time! Covered parking and the outside grill was nice to have. Close to the beach. We rented a golf cart that was a fun short drive to the marina, store and dining. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend this beautiful home. There is plenty of grass area for kids to play as well. It's on a very quiet street.
